An Adesso patented 300 Watt Double Socket construction allows for two criss-crossed sockets， each holding on/off 150 Watt incandescant bulbs or equivalent CFLs， which provides approximately 3 times more light than a typical torchiere using a 150 Watt 3-way bulb and illuminates an entire room. A simple high/low rotary switch is located on the pole to adjust the brightness. Bulbs are not included. The three-way switch adjusts the light from low setting， high setting to off position.
